There's something you need to know....

Nov 07, 2025

Yes, {{ first_name }}!!! I'm so happy you're here and soooo thrilled you’re a part of this community. 🎉🙌🏻🎶

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been getting messages from singers that have really touched me:

If any of that resonates…

You’re my people.

This is why I do what I do.

I LOVE helping singers over 40 reclaim their voices so they can sing confidently, joyfully, and unapologetically! 😆

For over 25 years, I’ve supported singers all with wide ranging goals: Broadway professionals, church choir singers, sometimes gigging performers, community theatre actors, former professionals, sang in another life, sing only for yourself...... you all share one thing in common:

you want to feel freeconfident, and fully YOURself when you sing.

And, boy, do I know that desire intimately.

After earning my master’s at The Manhattan School of Music and performing on Broadway I still had a bully of an inner critic and was constantly putting pressure on myself to get it right.

When I was doing the Broadway revival of A Little Night Music, I remember standing offstage  (with Angela Lansbury nearby 🤯) before I was about to go on to start the second act.

I had to start the act with a very exposed solo.

Just me and my voice. 🫨

I was praying to whoever would listen to please let the sound come out....

while that "other voice" was telling me not to $%&# this up.

Yeah, there was a lot going on. 😅

Eventually, that led to MAJOR burnout.

I knew something was missing.

I just wanted it all to be easier.
I wanted it to be FUN. (Hello!?)
I wanted to stop caring so much about what others thought.

And so began my journey of self reflection, teaching, coaching.... and eventually weaving together my vocal training, mindset coaching training, and well-being work to create The Joyful Singing System, a whole person approach that helps singers:

🎵 Tend to their voice, body, and mind with care
🎵 Explore with curiosity and uncover what’s been blocking them
🎵 Express themselves with authenticity, confidence, and play

Because Joyful Singing is about more than technique.

It’s about remembering yourself.

It's about taking all the things into account.

So you can get the kind of freedom that lets you stand in front of others and sing with the attitude of:

“This is me.”

So if you’ve ever felt held back by an inner critic, self-doubt, or the pressure to be “good enough,” I want you to know:

You belong here.
You’re in the right place.

This space is for singers who are ready to rediscover joy, reconnect with their voices, and feel the freedom of singing as their full selves.

Thank you for being here. Truly!!

Happy November!

With love,
Erin
